Introduction to TikTok Analytics
When you sign up for TikTok, you’ll have a standard account. You’ll need a Pro subscription if you want to view the analytics. A TikTok Pro account can be compared to an Instagram Creator account. It’s a handy tool for keeping tabs on who’s watching your videos and how well they’re doing.
Follow these steps to upgrade your TikTok account to Pro:
- 1. For more options, select the ellipses (…) in the upper right corner.
- Two, go to Account Management.
- Third, select Upgrade to Pro.
Afterwards, choose the type of account you want to use. - Select a class that identifies with the core values of your content or company. 5.
Select your gender in the sixth option. Both numbers 5 and 6 will be hidden from view. - Once you’ve completed the setup, your standard TikTok account will automatically be upgraded to Pro status.
TikTok Analytics: How to Access Them
Next, head on over to Analytics once you’ve upgraded to a Pro account. It’s accessible from a computer or a mobile device.
Mobile users:
Access your profile. The Settings and Privacy menu can be accessed by clicking the ellipses (…) in the top right. Simply navigate to the Account menu, and you’ll see the Analytical Reports subheading.
On a computer:
As soon as you upgrade to TikTok Pro, you’ll be able to view analytics. TikTok’s data dashboard does not include any sort of historical information. Insights won’t appear on the dashboard either for another week. TikTok will use that time to collect sufficient information about you.

Keep in mind that everything is arranged in chronological order. You can look at stats for the last 7 or 28 days.
Pageviews for a Video
Video Plays is the primary indicator of success on the overview tab of a profile. The number of times your videos have been viewed on TikTok will be displayed.
Followers
The number of people who have started following you in the last seven to twenty-eight days will be displayed here. Those new fans will be added to your total following.
Observations of Individuals’ Profiles
For a time period ranging from 7-28 days, this metric displays the frequency with which your profile has been viewed. Data is updated daily, so you can see exactly what you’ve posted that has attract the most attention.
Finding Meaning in the Content of TikTok
TikTok analytics’ Content tab provides extensive data on your videos’ overall engagement. Insights into popular videos, content trends, and more can be gleaned from this metric.
Videos Posted On Social Media
You can see how many times your videos have been viewed in the past week right at the top of the page. The results are presented in reverse-chronological order, starting with the most recent videos.
Trending
Following the completion of a Video Post, you will be able to view the ‘For You’ page to see which of your videos have been the most popular over the past week. The aggregate number of views that the popular videos have received will also be displayed.
Individual post analytics
Each post can be explored in greater depth for additional information. For this, select the video’s thumbnail. A brand-new dashboard detailing the video’s analytics will appear.
The video’s popularity is immediately apparent from the number of reactions it has received.
Here you can see how much time total TikTokers have spent playing the video. A timeframe of minutes to hours is possible. It all comes down to how well-liked the video is.
The total number of times this video has been viewed.
The average amount of time viewers spent taking in your video. A high average viewing duration indicates that viewers enjoyed the video for a considerable amount of time. Using this metric, you can identify the most popular types of content.
The source types of your visitors can be determined using this metric. For You, Sound, Hashtag, Personal Profile, Following, and Search are all possible entry points for potential visitors.
